Position Available: Retail Sales Lead
Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar Restaurant 30A – Gift Shop

We are currently hiring full-time  Retail Sales Lead. This position will be in direct leadership support of the business and the Retail GM. 

Job Summary

The Retail Sales Lead plays a vital role at Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar 30A, serving as both the first and last impression for our guests. This position requires enthusiasm, excellent customer service skills, and a strong work ethic to support daily retail operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage all guests with professionalism and warmth

• Inform customers about promotions, sales, and new merchandise

• Build guest relationships through excellent service and honest recommendations

• Accurately process sales transactions through the POS system

• Stock, merchandise, and maintain the sales floor

• Assist with receiving and processing incoming merchandise

• Maintain organization and cleanliness in the retail space

• Open and close the gift shop during operating hours

• Perform additional duties as directed by management

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal, cash handling, and computer skills

• Ability to multitask while remaining attentive to guests and business needs

• Team-oriented, self-motivated, and reliable

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude

• Previous retail or customer service experience required

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Must be at least 18 years old

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move continuously for extended periods 

• Frequent talking, listening, reaching, grabbing, and occasional stooping or climbing ladders

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

• Availability to work peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
