This role is responsible for welcoming guests, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness of guest areas, and ensuring every guest feels valued and cared for. The ideal candidate is personable, team-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, professional service at all times.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Deliver food and beverages to guests while ensuring quality and presentation standards.
- Answer guest questions regarding menu items, specials, and promotions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, host stand, beverage stations, and service areas.
- Assist with opening and closing side work duties.
- Process guest payments accurately using the POS system.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns promptly, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Refill beverages, clear tables, and reset dining areas quickly and efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and fellow front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service.
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Positive attitude with a strong focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must be available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Barista experience preferred not required.
